Managed the tech startup’s Marketing, Creative, Communications, and Digital departments and a ~200K annual budget, with a mission to evangelize the brand and drive growth throughout California. Developed brand and marketing strategy. Led KPI and analytics reporting for digital marketing channels. Managed print and video vendors.
Developed and delivered marketing / brand strategy and assets that contributed to the company achieving 300% revenue growth in 22 months, resulting in a successful acquisition by CDK Global in 2017.
Designed, tested, and evaluated the effectiveness of marketing outreach for the company’s seminars – constantly adjusting invitation design, messaging, and media channel – to increase attendance ~250% over 12 months.
Leveraged analytics to evolve the design and UI / UX of the company’s website, which doubled “time on page” for secondary pages, deepened engagement, and exposed potential clients to more product features.
Collaborated in developing a “surprise and delight” gift for VIP customers (e.g., business owners, business managers, etc.) – a technology package that served to create a stronger connection with the AVRS brand.

Recruited to develop AVRS’s brand and marketing strategy for the State of California. Developed creative guidelines and directed creative projects, including UI / UX design and creation of print collateral, websites, email campaigns, and videos. Partnered with Sun Microsystems’ events and promotions team to create a portfolio of creative (i.e., outreach, one-sheets, t-shirts, etc.) for Java events. Delivered the assets within often assertive deadlines.
Developed campaigns (i.e., multimedia ads, brochures, etc.) for Hitachi Data Systems product launches. Collaborated with client to ensure assets closely aligned with product strategy and internal brand guidelines.
